THE OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY OF THE ASIAN SHOTGUN CUP TOOK PLACE IN ALMATY!
From September 20 to 30, 2024 in Almaty region in the shooting club named after Alexander Asanov started the Asian Shotgun Cup in parallel with September 21 to 24, 2024 is the Asian Open Compak Sporting Cup. More than 300 athletes from 23 countries across Asia and the world are participating in the competitions!
The Asian Shotgun Cup features over 200 athletes from 15 Asian countries: Bahrain, India, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Japan and Kazakhstan.
More than 100 athletes from 10 countries of the world: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Hungary, Vietnam, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Kazakhstan take part in the Asian Open Compak Sporting Cup.
The President and Secretary General of the Asian Shooting Confederation, the President and Secretary General of the Kazakhstan Sport Shooting Federation, the Akim of Almaty region, the Head of Physical Education and Sport Department of Almaty region, as well as distinguished guests took part in the opening ceremony.
President of the Asian Shooting Confederation — H.E. Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah noted the level of high preparation for this significant sporting event and thanked the Kazakhstan Sport Shooting Federation for the warm welcome and organization of the Asian Shotgun Cup. He wished the athletes bright victories and high results!
Let us remind you that 45 sets of medals are being contested in the Asian Shotgun Cup in disciplines: trap, skeet, trap-mixed team, skeet-mixed team, in individual and team events, with athletes competing in four age categories: men, women, men junior , and women junior.
