From July 28 to August 8, 2022 in the Almaty region (Republic of Kazakhstan) in the shooting club named after Alexander Asanov started the ISSF Rating Grand Prix and 10th Asian Shotgun Championship.
Goals and objectives of the competition: popularization of shooting sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan and beyond its borders, improving the sportsmanship of athletes, determining the world ranking of athletes, improving the professional qualifications of coaches and judges.
More than 300 of the world’s strongest athletes from 16 countries and the Asian region take part in the competition from following countries:
Azerbaijan, Chinese Taipei, Greece, Islamic Republic of Iran, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan.
In the practice of the club named after Alexander Asanov, such major competitions were held as: the Annual Open Championship of the Union, the Asian Championships 2009, 2013, 2015, 2019 in 2014 the World Cup Stage (ISSF), which brought together more than 350 world participants from 47 countries of the World. In 2021,there was the ISSF Junior World Cup, in which athletes from more than 10 countries took part.
The shooting club named after Alexander Assanov brought together the entire elite of shooting sports.
